Weather update – 15-05-2013.
We had posted weather forecast for the month
of May 2013 on 02.04.2013, which is as under:
"Mercury shifted to Aries on
29.04.2013. It will cause positive magnetic field which is responsible
for rainfall in northern India. There will be fall in temperature on
29.04.2013 and 30.04.2013 Western disturbance on 02.05.2013. It
will cause the temperature to fall on 03.05.2013 up to 21.30 hours. There
will again be rainfall on 05.05.2013 up to 01.30 pm and heavy rainfall from
09.05.2013 and it will be maximum on 12.05.2013 and 13.05.2013."
Let us see how the weather forecast which was
first posted in our blog 'Scanastrology' on 02.04.2013 and subsequently
published in our monthly bilingual magazine 'Scan Astrology' in May 2013
issue, published from New Delhi, actually happened.

- Shimla, Himachal Pradesh - Snowfall in upper reaches of Rohtang Pass, Keylong
in Lahual and Kalpa and Manali with high velocity winds and showers brought
down the temperature in many parts of the State including Capital Shimla and
surrounding areas.
Rain and
snowfall continued in Himachal Pradesh and
parts of J&K.
Snowfall
in tribal belt in Himachal Pradesh.
Highest temperature of the season was recorded on Friday. Snowfall and rain in HP as Saach Pass in Chamba, inb Lahaul
Valley, Rohtang Pass, Baralacha, Seven Sisters’ hill, Goshal hills, and Gangastang
also received snowfall. Shimla and
surrounding areas and many other parts
of the Himachal Pradesh viz. Chamba, Bilaspur, Mandi were lashed with rainfall.
On 12th
May, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and NCR were lashed with dust-storm
and rainfall. Clouds and rain brought to
cheer to the people as they got reprieve from scorching heat.
On Sunday
the 12th May, Delhi was cloudy and better. Some places in Delhi got slight rain
accompanied by strong winds which brought down the temperature.
Kedarnath
shrine area felt snowfall whereas Doon valley was lashed with rains.
In another article on 15.04.2013,
under the heading”Occurrence of a new Phenomenon, among other things had said
that There will be rupture(landslide) in hilly areas.
A landlslide in Aizwal, Mizoram
killed 17 people, injured many. There
was huge destruction of property. Rescue operations were launched by the State Disaster Response Force, police
and the volunteers of Young Mizo Association.
Due to heavy rainfall on Sunday, rescue operations were hampered.
